Whispers of my soul

Alone I sit in solitude

The emptiness, it echoes through

The silence weighs, a heavy mood

A feeling deep, that can’t be subdued

A longing for a friend to see

The truest parts, that lie in me

The laughter and the tears alike

The shadows hidden and out of sight

The ache that fills my heart within

It’s like a weight, I can’t begin

To shake off and leave behind

A heavy burden on my mind

Yet even in this lonely space

I still find a sense of inner grace

For in this stillness I can hear

The whispers of my soul so clear

And though I long for company

I know this solitude will be
